Symon Perriman
Microsoft Corporation

Symon Perriman is a Technical Evangelist for the worldwide Developer and Platform Evangelism team at Microsoft focusing on Windows Server, Virtualization, System Center and Private Cloud. Based in Redmond, WA, Symon evangelizes datacenter technologies through speaking at industry events, blogs, webcasts and delivering trainings.

Symon started working at Microsoft in 2006 on the File Server team, then spent almost four years as a Program Manager designing many of the Failover Clustering and Network Load Balancing features on the Server High-Availability engineering team. Symon loves technology and runs a side-business designing mobile apps, websites and offering domain name services. As a Duke University graduate in Computer Science, Economics and Film & Digital Media Studies he remains a huge college basketball fan. Other hobbies include watching the NFL and UFC; playing foosball, golf and Frisbee; classic rock and electronic music; movies; traveling; modern and classic painting; blackjack strategy; juggling and other ‘circus arts’.

Finally Symon will answer the question he gets asked the most, “where is the unusual accent from?” Since he lived for almost 10 years in England and New Jersey, 4 years in North Carolina and Washington State, and a few other places in between for shorter times, it has become an awesome mix of everything!

Symon is an MCEA, MCSA, MCITP and MSTS in several Windows Server, Virtualization & Microsoft technologies.
