About Us
Seattle
Windows Networking User Group (WNUG) was founded by Microsoft MVP
Zubair Alexander in November 2008. The purpose of WinNetUserGroup is to
serve the Puget Sound IT community by bringing technical experts and IT
professionals together from various public and private businesses and
collaborate on Windows networking technologies.
WNUG is primarily focused on Microsoft networking technologies, such as Windows
Server 2008/2003, Windows 7/Vista/XP, Active Directory, SharePoint, Exchange,
SQL Server, ISA Server, SMS, etc. Our goal is to provide useful information to
IT professionals so that they can better install, configure, deploy, maintain,
support, manage, troubleshoot and secure Microsoft networking products and
utilities. Covering a broad range of subject matter ensures that a vast majority
of our audience can benefit from the topics discussed at our meetings.
WNUG is sponsored by Microsoft Corporation and SeattlePro Enterprises. Our
meetings are held at Microsoft offices in Lincoln Square Center in Bellevue, WA
on the first Wednesday of each month. Our user group is open to the general
public and we offer free membership to registered members.
